Contradiction Alert From Big Boss/Salman and the woman card thing

So last year Karishma Tanna was torn apart for making a big deal out of the whole gaali-mirchi thing with Gautam.

Everyone grouped up against Gautam, and the whole "yeh larki hai yeh larki hai" thing was discarded, Salman said at that time, why does there have to be a gender differentiation in anything. Which is right, I agree. He was very clear that just because you are female doesnt mean you can have any advantage or disadvantage - everything is fair in the game!

However, this year...things have gotten regressive the same Salman is using words like "but shes a girl yaar"...Girls are being given the option of a guy battle from them (when Mandana chose Keith to play for her against Rishab to become captain few weeks ago) ...So i dont understand the logic, last year they showed both genders as equal but in this season they are taking a million steps backwards and actually saying that they aren't 😕

Even the contestants themselves are guilty of this. What is it that they want to actually prove? cuz the msg isn't clear 😆
