One more way of calculating
147 million cable TV households today(http://tech.firstpost.com/news-analysis/what-will-cable-tv-digitization-actually-cost-you-31471.html )
147 million is 14.7 crores aprox 15 crore

then much of South India does not really watch hindi shows ...So we can safely assume 25% of 15 crore does not watch hind broadcast.. this leaves us with 10 crore population.. Do you think guys really care whats happening with Bigg Boss, Sashural Simar.Balika Badhu... so it's safe to assume 70% of the male population doe snot watch it .which is 35% of 10 crore.. So it leaves us with 6 crore. which is still a huge number if you get to compare with the actual number

Keeping aside rather ignoring those calculations- like I said in my earlier post, Bigg Boss is not only watched in India- Its been viewed all over the world- So counting the fans from all over the world, I'd rather you re-calculate cuz I sure know a lot from my city right now who love and support Gautam let alone the country. 😃

Pritam decided to take the money home. Good for him & wise decision. But Gautam Gulati is the winner of season 8. He's been given so much love & support by the public..that's more valuable!

agree with u. I'm from uk and I'm a huge gg fan. I'm sure there are lots of others all over the world who are also gg fans.we should be considered amongst the statistics too!!

So counting fans from all over the world won't make much difference, As total Indian Diaspora in other country counts only 2.5 crores(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-resident_Indian_and_person_of_Indian_origin).. and even the whole of 2.5 crore is not the BB viewing population

I hope you aren't counting non-hindi speaking world population as BB does not get telecated in English,french, Lebanese, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, shingali, Thai, Urdhu, German and so on so forth

And about ignoring my calculations- I knew You would do it, when You threw that number Billion+ recklessly..

So you watch suits .. haan.. They do have some good stuff.. at times concepts hard to decipher ..I hope you don't ignore those.
