We all have different opinions. Upon observing his behaviors, words and attitude I saw a completely positive and real side in him and qualities of a true winner and a good human being. The same words and behaviors may have been interpreted by you differently. And ive reached the conclusion that no matter what I saw because we are supporters of different people we can't seem to think rationally and neutrally about any one of them. I know all those people who are disliking gautam cannot take a 360 degree turn and immediately start liking him in the last 10 days and vice versa for people who love gautam. But i'm just trying to point out a fact which irrespective of whether you like him or not can be considered as a quality in him.

To add to this: if Ali can be termed as 'boastful' and 'proudly declaring'...then the same terms should be applied to Gulati.

So...Gulati too is boastful.

Hence, that's a contradiction with some of the points in your OP.

because there is a difference in the way they said it.

much more than the words said, the tone in which they are said shows more about their meaning.

Ali clearly said it in a manner that was overconfident. And gautam didn't. Trust me i am being very rational here.

Because had gautam been overconfident he wouldnt have done all that i have given the examples of.

He has taken stands but has not been vocal about it or proving it for the sake of attracting attention and being in the game. He supported pritam in saving and in hijack task. He supported dimpy in the museum task. Have you ever seen him telling this to them?

You answered your question right there!

That's exactly the point. We all have opinions and different ways to view different situations.

So if we all don't agree on one opinion on Gautam or any other housemate, it doesn't mean the person who has a different opinion than mine is under a misconception.
