According .to me, there are lot of things/incidents that shouldn't have happened in BB season 8
These things almost ruined the season in some ways...
1) Kamya coining the term P3G
It was taken WAY too seriously by everybody. 😕
and this term was used again and again 🤢, sometimes just for the heck of it, both inside and outside the house. 🥱
2) Deepshikha's early elimination
She was a perfect BB material. 😆
She was capable of adding a lot of spice to the house, but it never happened.
Her early elimination is one of the reasons why this season got so monotonous.
3) Survival of boring contestants
Contestants like Natasha, Sushant stayed in the house for weeks without providing any content. 😲
Even Upen was very boring until the 13th week. 😆
While Deepshikha got eliminated early😲
4) 'Waste' wild card entries..
Addition of Nigaar and Renee to the house didn't do anything much.
That's why they got eliminated in just 2-3 weeks.
Hence, wastage of 2 contestants.😆
5) Too many OPEN or TWISTED nominations
Evidently, this season had a lot open and twisted nominations,
which affected the GAME a lot, as everybody knew who nominated whom.
Anonymity of nominations was not present in this season.
6) "Bal Ka Prayog"
This term was also used a lot...just like 'P3G'.
Different rules for different contestants was the highlight of this season
Gautam was punished for giving a gaali.
but Sambhavna was not even warned by Bigg Boss for throwing a sandal
Ajaz got EVICTED permanently for violence while Puneet was brought back for doing the same thing.
7) One-directional editing
I liked Gautam at times but lets admit the fact that the editing team also played a very important role in making him a hero. 😛 Not saying he wasn't a hero.😉
Apart from that, Uncensored and behind the scenes videos had more masaldaar content than the actual episodes.
8) Constant feedback from outside
Contestants were given feedback from outside from time to time which is actually against the basic format of this show. 🤢
If occasional done, then it is okay😊, but so many times the contestants were given feedback from the outside.😲 Like Panelists, Guests, Party task etc.🥱
9) Forced Love angles
Like all previous seasons, this season also showcased many romance-related angles.
BB's hunger for such angles is not new.
Gautam-Sonali, Arya-Minisha, Upen-Sonali, Rahul-Dimpy, Karishma-Upen.... most of them looked forced.
Only one angle that didn't look forced to me was of Gautam & Diandra's😳
because it was spontaneous & shaped up genuinely.😛
10) Unnecessary re-entries of evicted contestants
Sonali came back without any valid reason.😕
Same was the case with Puneet who re-entered TWICE.😕
Upen also came back as a GUEST for no reason.
It was very frustrating to watch them coming back again and again.
11) No winner on 3rd January
"Finale ka Twist" was the lamest thing that happened in this season.😡
Instead of extending it, they should have declared Gautam as a winner on 3rd January & completed the season in a regular way.
12) BB8 merged with Halla Bol
They should have SEPRATELY spawned Halla Bol spin-off series instead of merging season 8 into it.
They should have used those 25 lacs as the winning prize
and should haveinvited some some of the best contestants from past seasons...
like Imaam, PM, Dolly, Rakhi, Sambahvna, Armaan, KRK & Puneet Isaar😆.
It would have been more fun.😃
Having said that, I still enjoyed this season a lot. 😊😛
