He was trying to justify himself to Pritam. Pritam then said something along the lines of he knows RM was just flirting and Tanna was also taking it as a joke but now that Upen has come and said something,it turned into an issue.

I don't think Upen care two hoots abt Dimpy and her pati. Its all abt Tanna😆

RM is going to each and everyone and trying to justify himself lol. He clearly said lafda hua and then took Upen's name.
