I think even most people who hate Gautam and those who love Praneet would think the reasons given are pathetic.

Are you really trying to say Gautam needs to hog the show just so Praneet would've stayed in? Why is that Gautam's job? Each person should entertain by themselves. Why don't you then say it's Praneet's fault, because he didn't act psycho like Upen?

Seriously if Gautam is outspoken and aggressive people say he's ruining the show because he takes too much screen time, but if he doesn't act like that people hate him too, for silly reasons like these. This reasoning has to be the worst so far though.

Please explain why Praneet shouldn't have done what you're saying Gautam should've done?
