I've been following big boss 8. I read some of the post and comments made on this forum and appreciate everyone's comments. There are various camps here, and some strong sentiments supporting various individuals. I am not supporting anyone or in anyone's camp. But I'm compelled to make this post today - to get this off my chest and give my perspective. I hope that there are people out there who (a) share the same sentiment as me (b) offer a differing perspective from what I've observe to justify this weekend's drama.

I love Salman Khan - not in a die-hard fan type of way but simply because his humor, wit, his craziness, his nature of stepping up and helping people - his being human campaign and his big heart, his love for his family. I think he is a great host for the most part, except that sometimes it is perceived that he is being biased or partial (perhaps an editing issue - because Salman mentioned that he took Punit to task for calling KT bimbo or something to that effect - I never saw that being aired on my side of the continent).

However, over the last few weekends (and for a long time now), it is very clear KT and UP are being bashed. UP's lip leaking tale has run it's cause (in my opinion). KT's intelligence (or lack of) has been the butt of many jokes. She's being ridiculed inside and outside the BB house. SK is so focus on her and asking her pointed questions (even she has become so afraid that she's consciously thinking what to say). From where I see, that is a result of being constantly abuse and ridiculed.

My heart went out to KT today and all women like her. I think KT is a simpleton and the derogatory name calling is uncalled for, especially by Punit. Salman may not have called her dumb but his quiz, his retorts are pulling her back up. Even when Salman's silly question regarding if Punit's team won, why the points were equal to the losing team. While I don't agree with KT's in terms of the points, I can appreciate that in a team, we have slacker, some dead weight and some contributors. Individually, some may be dead weight, some may not pull the weight and some may go par excellence. Her explanation was justifiable, team versus individual point of view (even if is not persuasive).

I don't get it. Everyone has a different learning speed, why discriminate someone if there are not smart or intelligent. I view KT as a simpleton because she got swayed by the others in an attempt to be a team player. She wasn't the mastermind behind the way the tasks were carried out in the initial days, and she got swayed but Dimpy said something about the vice-captain. Everyone in the house is playing a game. For some odd reason, I don't think KT is. My rationale being she's a simpleton - to play this type of game, she would need to be cunning. She seems like a real deal - She's obsessed about her looks, controlling, possessive, and competitive (as seen in the tasks - because she wants to win), but lack the intelligence, foxy cleverness to play any game.

Today I felt that KT and UP were specifically targeting. Salman's abrupt temper and walking off the stage was uncalled for (I think it was a defensive reaction on his part) - he lost control of the plot and instead of apologies and saying that "hey, sorry KT, bad joke but looks like things are getting out of hand and context - he stormed off). When he came back he could have played it cool and be a gentleman but instead lashed out at KT. Women have the right to become emotional, especially after being the butt of the joke for weeks on end. God knows, if week after week, I've been pushed and pushed by the host, and after every housemates unhappy with my captaincy and week I've had with these housemates, and then being subjected to yet another round of the old boys club joke, I'd became emotionally exhausted too.

What kind of message are we sending out? I can understand that everyone was joking, but why stretch it. Not everyone can take these kind of jokes. And why stand for these old boys club jokes! Which century are we living in? Right off the bat, Salman started on KT and he never let up until the end. It's no wonder the girl finally lost it. But what was heart breaking was that she kept apologizing to him and explaining that it is not because of him - yet he did not relent. JERK!

Not intended to offend anyone. Just wanted to pour my sentiments out.

Sorry don't agree.

Gautam was bashed the worst today in order to portray Diandra as a zabardasti ki victim who was taken advantage of. Yet he kept his composure.

Both Karishma and Upen need to learn how to take a joke and bashing from Gautam.

The way they behaved at the starting of yesterday's episode?!

If both of them really think that they are too high and mighty for BB, then they should get the hell out.

why do KT have to take on the jokes thrown by salman every often and now ...no surprise some ppl expect tanna to digest all the insults that salman does just bcoz they hate her ...
now salman vl decide who vl cry when and whr .! the way he said 'ye show aap ke mood ke hisab se nai chalta' to tanna ..agreed.. it doesn't run on tanna's mood.. but that's not she intended...she cried .its her right ..if u dont like her crying just ignore the poor girl for her fate ..

and i am so agree with u ..just bcoz he couldn't agree wat he was bullying tanna he walked out 🤢

Sorry I don't agree. Karishma is not a simpleton from any angle. She has ridiculed, called names and isolated her rivals too. Many people here feel that she deserves the treatment because she has caused pain to lot people due to selfish and prejudiced behavior. It's just that she is outnumbered by her rivals and she cannot take failure she is getting all sentimental now. Too bad. It's Karma I say.

well said and I think KT is now geting more nervous and makes more mistake with her slip of the tongue,.. due to fear and more be-ijjaauti

I agree,.. many a times in Cricket even it happens,. that winning country team is diff,

and still man of the match is given to the loser team's particular player,.. who performed well there,..

KT is not dumbo either

she is smart in her own field and some talks and matters and points even she gets it faster understood,... than anyone else,.. that also i noticed,.. I think Salmaan was too much behind her , the whole episode, whole season,.. and many of logical reasoning from KT ( given yesterday ) was good, fair and just,.. it's but natural that,..

alos,...since she has remained/spent max times with Upen and DI,.. so she will be lil partial knowingly/unknowingly,.. the P3G groups also has done the same,..a many more times,. ! No ?

Today I felt that KT and UP were specifically targeting. Agree,.. Salmaan was lot more behind her the whole season,.

What kind of message are we sending out? I can understand that everyone was joking, but why stretch it. Not everyone can take these kind of jokes.

Also who knows,.. she was in bad physical health today,.. which Upen was trying to say,.. also women, at the time of Menstrual remain in more stress, and can't take much joke, annoyance,.. etc.

Salman failed today,.. to have listen to Upen his part of say,...

JERK!

Today's KT pressure was also a part of Yesterday's show when the whole show ,... Sallu had her's band bajaaving, despite of real logical reasons given,..

Also on da other hand,...to let you know,.. KT-Pritam's rumor not created by Salmaan,.. but smwhere HMs were also shown discussing about ,.. that they are now coming closer with some unknown attraction bonds,.. etc.

What Salman does and say may not be wholly his viewpoint. The channel has a say on it as well. So if he is asked to point out Karishma's shortcomings as a captain - he has to do it. That is what he told in yesterday's episode - he is just doing his work.
As for KT, she was being teased - she should have taken it sportingly. I think she is feeling insecure - you are living in a house with no knowledge of what is happening in the outside world or what others are thinking of you, you still need to maintain your image and come out as a winner - it is not easy especially when you are on your own.

Whatever may be the reasons, this game is not for the weak - she should have been prepared for anything that is thrown her way.

Hey Disputed: Thanks for sharing your views. Unlike KT, Gautam is not bashed every weekend. I did noticed that when GG get's cornered, he took take to tears. Having said that, if GG is able to withstand weeks of bashing and his intelligence called into questions by the host and the HMs and still keep his composure intact without resorting to tears and drama, then KT and UP will certainly benefit from taking a lesson of his leaf.

Thank you for posting your thoughts. :)

Interesting point of view. Thanks for posting. I don't follow the forum and can't comment on the sentiments people share on KT. I just wanted a take on Salman's behaviour towards KT and UP. The fact that she's been called selfish and self centered, aggressive, etc - all these tags and labeling can wear a person down. KT's personality type is such, the HM know that and accept her as such - so why the continuous labeling and harassment, especially from the host - who's behaviour is more prejudicial?
