excuse me?go and read Mahabharat first..Dhritarashtra had 101 children..100 sons ans 1 daughter so when Salman asked how many brother Duryodhan had the answer would be 99..including Dury it will be 100..

I dont know which Mahabharat version you refer to, but the KMG version (the only English translation of Vyas MB available ) mentions that Dhritarashtra had 100 sons and 1 daughter with Gandhari. And 1 more son called Yuyutsu with a woman named Sugadha or sometimes also referred to as Sauvali. So total he had 102 children. So answer to the question is Duryodhan indeed had 100 brothers and the answer 100 is correct (atleast per this version of Mahabharat).

And this is mentioned in the Adi / Sambhava parva of the Mahabharat.

"Janamejaya said, 'O illustrious one, tell me the names of Dhritarashtra's sons according to the order of their birth beginning from the eldest.'

"Vaisampayana said, 'O king, they are as follows: Duryodhana, and Yuyutsu, and also..."

"...And Yuyutsu who was Dhritarashtra's son by a Vaisya wife, was also over and above the hundred. "

And yes, the step brother counts as brother just similar to how Nakul-Sahdev the step brothers (born of Madri) are counted as brothers to Yudhishthir, Bhim & Arjun (Born of Kunti) and referred as 5 Pandav brothers.

I see Pooja Sharma Draupadi DP in your id, so probably you followed StarBharat and they missed him completely, just like how they twisted lot of stories. But doesn't mean that it is not true.

but Yuyutsu never counted as Kaurav..he always felt an outsider with Kaurav's and always sided with Pandav and also he took Pandav's Side in the war...Yuyutsu's mother was a maid so he never excepted as a prince or a part of the royal family and also Dhritarashtra never married Yuyutsu's mother...Nakul-Sahdev's mother is the princess of Madra and the 2nd wife of Maharaj Pandu..and yes I followed StarBharat but I also watched B.R.C. MB and also watching it again now in Epic..btw Star Bharat showed Yuyutsu even if it was for just few glimps..Sabar Kashyap played that role..
