I agree with all of your points TM.
BB is just a shell of what the concept of Big Brother truly is.
In my opinion, too much interference by the host is what ultimately has made this show lose its essence. Every week, the host comes on and gives his personal opinion on the contestants, their actions, the general happenings of the house. This would be fair if the host did an unbiased job of it. However, his judgements and opinions are usually lopsided focusing on exaggerating some things and undermining other bigger things as well propping up certain contestants while unnecessarily disrespecting others. My point is if the host is going to give the housemates his point of view and opinions, he needs to do it from a neutral point of view.
In addition, we have seen since Season 5 how family members come into the house. We don't get to see the entire interactions between the housemates and their family members and we will never know how much information is passed on to them from and about the outside world.
Finally, this season has taken the outside interference to another level by introducing the so called expert panel of past contestants and random celebrities who come in to give advice and opinions. Isn't that on some level twisting and influencing how the housemates then act? All the housemates are grown individuals. It's up to them to decide how they want to portray themselves or when their true nature truly comes out. By giving them advice and the general opinion of the outside world, you're totally affecting their actions and behaviours which should only really be up to the contestant and not how the audience feels about it.
