I think it's just the way he puts himself in front of us(the audience)...he always does things for fun and intentionally say some stupid things. But I guess he does it all just for fun and never take things to that ugle level of personal attacks and stuff.

Gautam and Ali are actually doing something in the show

Difference is Ali gets dirty and Gautam always comes out clean - and that is where it makes a difference! :D Gautam <3
