I think he will choose karishma against upen .

This will either change karishma s behavior towards Gautam or will break the friendship between upen and karishma( if upen fights to get the captainship without giving chance to karishma)

Why would to emphasize the last statement? Have you forgotten that this topic isn't meant for bashing Gautum and instead for predicting who he will choose for captaincy?

Anyway, him choosing Puneet proves the direct opposite. If he was hit "puppet", he would choose whoever Puneet told him to choose (I think Puneet advised him to pick Pritam).
