Yes Gautam is way overexpressive and should not have reacted that way to Praneet's pat on the back. By the way, more than the physical aspect of the situation, it was more hurtful what Praneet's intent was.

Praneet basically shames Gautam by saying that he has to change Gautam's underwear. What?? Is he serious? If he was a serious friend, he wouldn't say anything like that. But who is the culprit here? I say Praneet more than Gautam. Gautam is emotional and also hot tempered, everyone knows that. Praneet is the one who pretends to be mahaan and wise. He bitches about Gautam and calls him negative. Basically his whole existence in the house revolves around Gautam. He claims to have honored their friendship. Has he at all done that the past couple of weeks? Heck no!! He shouldn't be complaining that Gautam hasn't been a friend when Praneet is the one sabotaging the friendship.

Main point, Gautam is known to be like that and it was wrong of him to ignore Aarya's situation. However, this time, it was Praneet's fault
