Guys, Guatam WAS always interested in Sonali until last week when salman hinted him that there r cameras watching him. If he wasn't interested then what was that kiss on her cheek sitting outside, the night view where he was wrting soemthing with his fingers and then he probably wanted to get close to sonali but she mentioned that the cameras are watching, she even pointed T the camera. He was into love fully but after sallu cautioned him, he started clarifying his image that sonali is just a friend. No gautam no! It was gautam who expressed to Pritam and Puneet that he likes Sonali more than a friend. He got insecured of Upen because sonali got close to Upen and gautam was helpless because of the hint given to him by sallu. Diandra and Sonali both liked Gautam initially because he hadn't shown his true colors to them. He behaved like a psycho with Diandra and once grabbed Sonali by her neck(she mentioned this to praneet) in one episode and that's what made sonali realise that gautam is a fool. Gautam is playing the game very nicely and that too with full confidence and by calling someone a kutta makes him feel like a winner, then he is a big fool. Go look at the episodes, gautam rejected sonali after saturday's episodes when sallu hinted him to stay cautious.
