I have decided to create this post in order to promote our forum's protect against the contamination that is known as the Hippo. Another reason for this post is to adjudicate, with valid reasoning, why Gautum Gulati is fully deserving of the love and support he is receiving from us.

Before beginning, I request that all criticisms I receive should be only from people who actively use their brain. God put it on top for a reason, Thank you for your cooperation.

First and foremost, let me say that Gautum Gulati has his fair share of foibles. However, I challenge any of you to find 1 person who does not have any (except myself of course). It is always a good thing to point out one's flaws in a polite manner. That way, the person will have a chance to improve upon it. But on this forum, every minor shortcoming of Mr. Gulati has been exploited beyond limits by the Anti-Gautum Council of Indian Forums (AGCIF for short). Sure, Mr. Gulati is somewhat aggressive and perhaps rude. But so are many other people, when provoked. And we all know that the housemates try ever so desperately to instigate Mr. Gulati.

I would also like to say something to all those who still are mad at Mr. Gulati for using some profane language. Have you never swore in your life? Have you ever been swore at in your live? I'm sure you have, and perhaps by your parents as well. This is no big deal anymore, especially since we are adapting Western standards nowadays. So please stop dragging that disrespect issue. At least this guy doesn't go in other women's shorts and caresses their thighs.

Now that we have gotten that out of the way, let us discuss why Mr. Gulati is so supported by the viewers. A major reason for this is the cornering and isolation of him. For this, you surely can't blame Mr. Gulati as this is the housemates' fault. Isolating the poor guy for acting intelligent and taking stand for what is right is outright stupid.

Also, Mr. Gulati is quite entertaining. His style makes him fun to watch and the large amount of arguments he is pulled into provides entertainment for us viewers. Honestly, until the Karishma-Mr. Gulati issue, Bigg Boss 8 was fairly boring to watch. From their, the entertainment quotient of the show has skyrocketed - primarily due to Mr. Gulati.

Along with that, what is a fine quality that he possesses is his recent composure during arguments. He has been provoked multiple times in the past week or so and he has generally managed to maintain calmness all through out. An example of this is his multiple arguments with Praneet, in which Mr. Gulati made no use of profane language even though it was done so by Praneet.

Yet another excellent quality that Mr. Gulati is lucky enough to have is loyalty. For example, in today's episode, he was told quite subtly by Salman Khan that Puneet back-stabbed him. Despite this, he showed how much he cares for him by crying when Puneet was leaving the house. Such loyalty and dedication is hard to find in many humans.

That concludes my post for now. I would love to hear your arguments or comments regarding this. Thank you for reading.

very good analysis. gautam is a hot head but his heart is in the right place. even though he ostracized and isolated by most of the other contestants, a lesser person would go into depression and clam up. but gautam has shown a fighting spirit that is radiant and pure. one can feel his patos and we feel that he deserves better. if the contestants inside insist of misunderstanding him.

we the viewers have the power to give him our support, that can give him an idea that the people understand him.

i am not his big fan, but his fighting spirit and honesty to himself has won me over.

this also has to do with the behaviour of the other contestants, which is totally unfair and bias when it comes to gautam. it seems that they have all agreed to hate gautam, and to continue to hate him.
