My Final Conclusion - Ali Fans Cut Him Slack

My final conclusion from hippo's thread is that Ali fans give the benefit of doubt to Ali and want evidence of motive. To that, I say ... how do you prove his motive? That is only for Ali to know because only he knows what he touched her and with what intent. I don't think anyone here can speak for him on that.
I liked Sonali initially but I don't anymore because of her drugged out and random personality and she also comes across as arrogant for no reason at times. Her bed hopping put me off too. But is that relevant in any way when someone decides to take her body for granted and touch her, sexually or otherwise? No .. no way in hell can anyone make sense while saying yes to that question. So.. yes, Ali was wrong and his action needed to be condemned. - My final conclusion.

And those who find him at fault without sufficient evidence are all pusedo feminist.
Remember my friend, generalizations can be made both ways...I am not a fan of anyone but rather someone who believes that "men" are not "always" wrong when it comes to sexual harassment. A lot of women cry foul for reasons best known to them.

if it was some other girl,I would have gotten angry with Ali but Sonali is a cheap woman and everyone knows what she is upto,so Ali's act didn't bother me,even though he may be wrong.

That is a very disgusting thing to say, Chits. Irrespective of what "kind" of woman Sonai is, what's wrong is wrong. To not have his actions bother you because of your feelings towards the other effected party, is very sad. It sends a message to people out there with wrong intentions.

We should focus on the message we are actually putting out there.

I agree with some of the points you have raised here and trust me I am not a fan of Ali, like you I used to like Sonali for her gutsy attitude even if she was weird but I don't like her anymore for the reasons you have already mentioned.

What Ali did was wrong because even if it was done in masti like he was doing it with Diandra afterwards, Sonali doesn't share the same comfort level with him. So he can't just take the same liberties. Having said that, the thing is why would anyone in their right mind intend to sexually harass someone while they are actually in bed with someone else with everyone surrounding them along with the BB cameras. It is confirmed that he touched her knee and she didn't deny this claim, she just claims that the way he did it was cheap. So after his clarification immediately and apologizing She went to bed and in the morning was laughing the whole time with P3G and not showing any signs of distress afterwards. So her motives for the complaint are questionable!

Ali got his punishment and I believe it will teach him never to take such liberties with women again. The moral of my blah blah is that If Ali is in the wrong, Sonali is not a sati savitri either!😆

He pissed me off In today's episode. In the beginning of his captaincy, I used to give him the benefit of the doubt not anymore.
His dialogues were, "don't say I have a dirty mind, but u can say I have a dirty heart"... W*F?! Was he trying to be funny.

Then after losing captaincy and getting direct nominations, he goes and talks to Gau. He does not even apologize just says "forget everything".

Too much ego. This guy can't even apologize. He only said sorry to Sonali after being pressured by hm.

I'm no fan of Sonali's recent actions, but what he did and the way he went about handling the situation is just wrong.

I say that those who cried wolf while Tanna was abused but support Ali now are the real pseudo-feminists because their feminist claws only comes out when their favorites are on the receiving end of a misdemeanor.

Yes, it goes both ways, and I am not denying that there exists cases of women crying foul with ulterior motives but in this particular situation, If Ali indeed was making a completely oblivious touch to Sonali, he could have apologized and admitted that it was an accident. But no, this guy admits that he DID go ahead and took the liberty to put his hand on her knee and was not a bit apologetic about it. He was laughing, if anything. When Sonali got off the bed, it looked to me like he got off her reaction as well. After that, he went ahead and said, no I don't have a dirty mind.. but a dirty heart! That's the typical lecherous behavior that women have to face even in the streets on a regular basis and as easy as it may be for the woman to blame a man, it's very easy for the guy to blame the girl that she is crying foul as well and I see that happening on this forum just because Sonali coochie coos with Upen and Gautam.

So "cheap" women should be subjected to harassment on account of their "cheapness" ... ? I don't even know where to begin with the sheer absurdity of that statement.

Oh yeah.. I remember when he said that, he sounded like a chichora who got busted and was trying to make light of it.
