Even if Gautam hears Puneet sir gossip, I dont think Gautam will confront him. Puneet sir is not someone Gautam would want to mess with. Gautam's bigger goal is to establish in bollywood.
Please dont misunderstand. Gautam is not scared of Puneet sir. Gautam is smart enough to understand who not to mess with. At the most, Gautam will feel bad hearing Puneet's gossip.

I am guessing above scenario. We dont know how things will turn out in this scenario.

Gautam already got rejected and isolated many times. He never lost his temper.
Imam or Puneet are good choices for such fake evictions, because they will come back display their frustrations.
