I must confess, I am starting to like Gautam, and not because he was being bullied, but just because of the way he is. I think, beneath all the overacting and nautanki, he comes across as a mentally strong person with a lot of focus and drive. I am quite impressed by the way he is able to keep calm in the most stressful of situations.
Earlier everyone kept calling him fake, and there was nobody on his side, and still he never broke down. He continued to apologise and never retaliated, despite the unfairness of the whole situation, and despite being constantly provoked.
Even in the weekend ke vaars, when he was finally given an opportunity to speak, he didn't bring up the fact that Karishma was being sadistic. He took it all upon himself. It may have been all an act to look mahaan, but I think that sort of commitment to one's 'act' while being under so much pressure takes strength.
Today, in the task, Karishma was constantly trying to rile him for a complete non-issue (of course) and he was able to walk away. You could see her frustration by the way she was kai-kaiying to the others about him being a loser. She's the loser, and a very sore one too.
He deserves to be a finalist.
