I guess being defensive does not help on BB. everyone who becomes defensive (tanna,Green D, Gauhar, etc.) look miserable while people like Arman who apologize instantaneously in front of SK look good on the show.

Well Soni is shit talking about Gautum for obvious reasons, cuz she swore at him!! Now she is scared that what might happen with her so she wants to be an integral part of Tanna's Gautum bashing team. You see this is all defence mechanism. They think the more they bad mouth him, audience is eventually going to turn against him. But they dont realize that we are watching both sides of the story. I have not seen Gautum going personal on her except for the fact that he always keeps on saying that she made mountain out of a molehill. I have not seem him talk about anyone's character as such.

Being defensive is fine.

Stretching an issue to an extent, after which there is no point of return is bad.
