she was asking for sympathy...and he provided it...it was looking like an b grade 1980's film...actually reminded me Rani mukherjee's film Mahendi...it was an over the top movie with tadka of overacting by supporting actors

That guy is unfit for this game. Gentle giant. His "daughter" will brand him an outsider and nominate him when the time comes.

So he would've killed him just because of a swear word?

Should've given a warning to keep a control on his tongue or something not go as far as directly to death-threat.

Shouldn't act to fatherly with Karishma, she will probably ignore him the moment she has no more used for him (Remember shes there to play and not make friends). Plus we've seen how she treated Soni today.
