Yes, it's a task - but the participants are human beings too. Anyone who had chilli powder thrown in their face or smeared on it - would curse. It's an automatic reaction. Let's keep in mind that the participants here are in running for BB's money - not the title for the next Mahatma of this century.

I guess yes the participants could have gotten out of their chairs, instead of bearing this torture. But then that's similar to saying that this team should not have stooped so low. Both had a choice.

Yet the fact is that the reaction one gets is prompted by one's own actions.

Does Gautam go about abusing all women at the drop of a hat? No he does not (that's a special privilege reserved for Arman Kohli).

Is he an insensitive person - again I would say not (he was the one helping Diandra after she had to smear mud on her body and there was no water in the house).

Is he an attention-seeker - yes, but so is everyone else in the house, that's what they are in the house for after all. None of them would give up the opportunity to get their 3 minutes of daily footage.

I'e never liked Gautam from day one, but in this instance I would cut him some slack. Karishma is indeed over-reacting. And her cry of "outraging modesty of a woman" is actually a disservice to all those who are striving for women's empowerment.

He may not be kind to Karishma with the way she was taking revenge against Natasha. She was completely after her. If you see, she did not apply chilli on Soni and Sukirti because they are close to her but was constantly pestering Natasha even after she folded her hand and requested her to stop such torture.

I get a feeling this will not go down very well with Salman.

I think so too. She might get it from Salman for torturing Natasha. Gautam, inspite of his apologies, will still get it from Salman for verbally abusing Karisma but he will let it go a little easy because Gautam realized his mistake
