If the genders were reversed in this scenario—where two male contestants were openly discussing a female contestant’s physique during her workout—the public reaction would likely be intense and critical. Such discussions could be seen as objectifying or inappropriate, and it would likely spark conversations about respect, consent, and the line between admiration and intrusive commentary.

In cases where male contestants are perceived as focusing on a female contestant’s appearance in a way that feels objectifying, social media and viewers often react strongly, calling out such behavior as disrespectful or “creepy.” These discussions can amplify broader societal conversations about gender dynamics, double standards, and the need to maintain respect and professionalism in all contexts.

For a reality show like Bigg Boss, where interactions are closely scrutinized, reversing the genders in this scenario could indeed provoke backlash and trigger calls for the contestants to behave more respectfully. This contrast highlights how societal perceptions often differ based on the gender dynamics in a given situation, potentially bringing to light existing biases and the importance of treating all contestants with the same level of respect.

Yeah you are absolutely right . They way rating boys body and all that is justified is just disgusting. Same if done by a boy and what part of girl you like would have it would have become nationwide concern and might have been even tagged as rap*st !

Thank you for understanding the double standards here. It’s frustrating to see that when men are subjected to comments about their bodies, it often gets brushed off, while the same behavior towards women would cause an uproar — and rightfully so. Everyone deserves the same level of respect and consideration, regardless of gender.

Hum mardo ka koi izzat nhi :( humra body parts koi bhy discuss kar leta wo bhy khullam hulla tv pe :(

Yes I agree, if the roles were reversed there would be an uproar on social media right now and Salman Khan would already be getting ready to drill the male culprits.

I didn’t mind it though . It’s modern India I feel we should get of our high horses . A single man or women feels sexual surge from a sexy person of opposite sex or in some case same sex. They feel empowered to talk about it. Feminism empowers women to do the same what men have been doing for ages. Kashish did not touch his shoulder just spoke about it so it’s fine . Even if a guy did it from a distance I won’t mind it. Lust is just another emotion, embrace it.

While I understand your perspective on embracing natural attraction, there’s a key difference between acknowledging attraction and openly commenting on someone’s body in a public setting, especially when that person may feel uncomfortable. Bigg Boss is a highly visible platform, and actions and words can set an example that influences how people interact with others in real life.

Empowerment and equality don’t mean disregarding boundaries or excusing behavior that could be uncomfortable or disrespectful. Feminism is about mutual respect, not about making objectification acceptable for everyone. Just because something has been normalized by one gender in the past doesn’t mean it should be excused or normalized now. It’s perfectly fine to feel attracted to someone, but publicly discussing someone’s body, without their consent, crosses a line from personal thoughts to public objectification.

Ultimately, respecting each other’s comfort and boundaries helps us build a society where people feel safe and valued, regardless of gender.
