And if we factor in the year on year decline in cable viewership (anywhere between 5 and 7%) these numbers are comparable to BB13…and considering how this season barely bad anything as spicy as BB13, its all because of this ‘new’ audience BB has managed to acquire. BB OTT2 ka success was also for the same reason!

Yeh BB extend hojana tha agar things worked out in favour - Munna’s availability, those 3-4 weeks in between etc. BB OTT3 agar hua tou around same timeline because KKK ki shooting bhi starting soon!

But munna was prepared for extension...and kjo and rohit would have hosted another 3 weeks but I guess makers didn't want to extend it

Yeah trps have been really nice like on avg recent seasons mein only 13 was higher and 16 and this one were comparable and last week it got higher ratings than 16 lol

No one knows for sure why season is not extended but many feel ke cuz the new creators of bb r jio and ott 2 was the most watched streamed show online and very successful so jio is focusing more on ott 3 and to prepare and plan for it to release by June they need to end the main season around this time only lol

Ott2 was so much better. It was interestung to watch even live feed

Yaar I had also heard rumors of munnu’s availability issues if the season got extended but was he that imp to the makers that his availability was more imp than their show getting extended? Like kissi aur ki nai jita sakte thaiy agar woh extension nai kar sakta tha?

And even last season was extended in Jan so makers could have extended this season this month as well but they just gave up on their show as if they wanted to move on too lol

And you’re right ke influencers definitely increase trps by bringing in non tv watching sm audience to the show so they’ll keep bringing in more influencers in future seasons but fact is its always a combo of tv actors and influencers jo season chalatein hain like this season was carried by abhishek, isha and chintu triangle throughout the show in combo with vicky and ankita angle and all of them were tv actors but second half of the season when trps really started to increase was when Ayesha came in to the show and makers used an influencer munnu’s personal life to create drama which despite many denials majority of audience loves lol

So yeah season bhi actors and influencers ke kaands pe challa ek week chintu aur isha ki poking with Abhishek chaanta doosra week Ankita and vicky ke kaand aur teesra week munnu with ayesha and manara ki jugalbandi hi relevant hoti thi alternatively 😂
