Vicky obviously loves Ankita and that’s why he looks so frustrated at times because he never gets any love back..all he gets is a bag full of complaints and more complaints. I know it will be very tough for him but he needs to divorce this lady and get ahead in life. He will always feel stuck with her. What kind of a marriage is this if you can’t even hang out with friends without your spouse telling you they don’t like it? Yeh itna possessive relationship? Is this what Ankita is? Ankita only loves money and the comfort that comes with that money. Vicky is 10x richer than Ankita, has always been rich, but is still willing to do dishes, clean toilets etc. but ankita, who had a humble upbringing, had years of struggle, doesn’t want to do anything? That proves that this marriage is nothing but a source of luxury for Ankita. Vicky leave her, you will find someone so much better. Ankita looks like your mothers age.

It is not like anyone's parents teach the kid to abuse or kick anyone. (Hopefully not)

I am not really of the belief that an adult's behaviour should be attributed to their parents. Also her father is no more. Her mom must've felt terrible.

If tables were turned and Ankita's mom did that, that too would have been wrong.

See generally our parents n unke parents ke zamane mein aisa hi hota tha... Bacha jab Maar pit ke ghar aata hai, principal asks tere ghar mein ye sab chalta hai wahin se seekh ke aaya. Parents bolte hai ye school mein teacher ne yahi seekha ya ta kya?

And for all we know this maybe highly scripted.

That aside, agar Vicky would have kicked her or slapped her or thrown a chapal at her SM would have lost their shit. Heck agar Aishwarya ne kiya hota toh bhi.

Ankita gets away with a lot...

Ankita was feeling sad that day because she realised that all her bad behaviour was being shown in the episodes. About the father in law calling her mother to complain came much later in the day. She took that one point to try and turn the narrative in her favour.
