Tough to compare fan support like this. There is always an overlap between fandoms. It is like saying Elvish would have defeated Sid Shukla or something of that sort. Impossible to compare. Just know that Munawar has insane level of support, and he also gets a lof support from Mc Stan/Bantai fans because they all have similar backgrounds.

To be honest, he is not my favourite to a level of previous seasons' favourites. He isn't my favourite even but like you I do have a soft corner for him and because none of the house-mates this season have impressed me so I would have my sympathies with him the most because no matter what he did make the first of the season interesting which is not now definitely. Secondly, I still want to give him a benefit of doubt because itna mental harrasment ke baad, it's difficult for anyone to even survive, at least he isn't cribbing, crying and still smiling. Stupid, yes but then itna expose k baad usse itna expect karna bhi will be too much. But let's see, i really want him to play good game so that I can have a proper favourite to root.

Me too, totally seconded. I feel sorry for him and sometimes we on ddt (or as audience) think things are so obvious but in the house it is different, you can have tunnel vision and be grasping at straws. Plus he does not respect or value Ankita's opinion as deep down I feel he thinks she wants to put him down more

However, I would wager were these two to enter main BB they would flop as players similar to Anurag - reason being OTT is a very short duration and what gets to you in the end in BB is fatigue due to the length. If you are on makers' shitlist but popular you are getting bashed for months on end with no mercy

Yes. If you compare Elvish and Abhishek’s SM following before they entered BB OTT, it was actually below Anurag’s when he entered. Anurag has a more diehard following. Obviously Elvish and Abhishek both benefited MASSIVELY from the BB OTT exposure

Yaar lone arc tab kaam karta hai when you have at least one support like Gautam had from the host. Bande k pass kisi ka support nhi hai, na fan following ( he is told that he was in bottom two), he is told that he use and throw people, he is shown as a bad husband, he is shown as a bad friend, he is being told by his mother that he is going wrong. His every conversation is being exposed. No one considers him that important now. His wife keeps flexing.

Itna harrasment k baad, what he should do. I am just keeping myself in his place, and it's really not easy to survive in that mad house after all this. It's very easy to anyone ki haan game khelna chahiye, dar kis baat ka, but practically it's really not easy plus he isn't an good actor like Shalin was to make things entertaining. He has flaws but I have a soft corner because he did make first half of the season interesting, also I am mad at BB for being so biased. So yeah, that's how it is.

And I am not rooting for him, but out of all, it's KZ and Vicky for me. It's like choosing the best from the worst.

It's BB who made me feel bad for him. Now that bit of soft spot is there for him. If he will continue play like this phir woh soft spot bhi chala jaye ga.

They benefited, but fan following only helps if your game is good and/or unique. While Stan wasn't a game player, his lingo and flavour was new to BB therefore he did well. Also if channel wanted they could have evicted him earlier due to poor game play (nothing they haven't done before).

You are only as good as the channel lets you be.

Elvish and Abhishek benefited massively but I maintain that their fans are mistakenly comparing main BB to OTT BB - Munawar (and others like Vicky) are playing a 3-4 month game which is far more exhausting. These two were having minor breakdowns in a few weeks.

Abhishek was arrogant but a good BB contestant. He isn't smart as Munawar or Vicky in game play but I don't think he will fail like Anurag. Anurag is dumb, Abhishek isn't.

Elvish is very different. He is controversial with his views but I found him really entertaining inside the BB house. He has innocence in him which would be loved by TV audience.

But inke fans alag level pe Hai. They are still trending on twitter. Elvish has next level fam following. I don't think there is any BB contestant in 17 seasons whole can defeat him in votes.
