BB16 is a superhit because the neutrals are enjoying the drama & fights of ACTIVE contestants, namely Priyanka, Archana, Shalin, Tina, Shiv & Bigg Boss himself. 🥳

Uff! Look at that rating for Abdu’s re-entry!! 🥰❤️

This seems to be the most successful season. this shouldn't be but it is. Idk how it topped s11 & 13 where those seasons were way better in content

I’m personally enjoying this season, I found season 13 too toxic. And everyone contributes to the ratings imo.

From what I remember,

Saturday - Ankit’s eviction & Priyanka’s class

Sunday - Abdu back

Mon-Thurs: The many Archana fights with Mandli 2.0, Live audience & electing captain from Shiv/Stan/Abdu, Nominations, Newspaper headlines to save one nominated.

Friday: WKW - Archana’s coochicoo class & Shalin making his point

BB16 joins the elite group of superhit seasons of BB which includes BB4, BB7, BB11 & BB13! 👏

On BB16, the contestants are giving hell load of content even without any tasks. I feel like what made BB16 such a big hit is because it went back to basics this season, more focus on drama/characters & less focus on tasks, it helped the viewers connect with the contestants. 👍🏼

Even overall Colors GRP is also good

Star Plus No 1 Channel with 215 GRPs

Colors no.2 with 204

If Colors fiction also start working well it can beat SP

My bad, if Ankit still had scenes on Sunday and was evicted then, I thought it was Saturday.

But Abdu’s return was promoted a few days in advance so I completely disagree about what was promoted more. I knew Abdu’s return epi would get the highest TRP. ❤️


Anyways, I think all the contestants are active and doing something, and that’s what contributes to the TRP ratings. The online game doesn’t have too much of a bearing on offline TRPs this season imo.

The entire first half of Sunday's episode was continuation of Ankit's eviction, which was promoted for 2 DAYS! Abdu's return promo came out on Sunday noon, the same day of telecast. So Ankit's eviction & Priyanka crying was promoted way more.

Also, Priyanka's first bashing episode on Saturday still holds the highest TRP of 2.2.

Yes, I agree every contestant contributes to the TRP. So let's not give credit to specific people, esp. those who's presence have proven to not affect TRP like Abdu.
