Bold - The second part of my post was supposed to address this …. but don’t have focused time to pen it.
It’s a game of Colors faces….Nimrit is incidental…. Nims could have been Pri or Pri could have been Nims if they had swapped the starting position
….. If Pri was given the privilege of captaincy by BB in the first week and Nims would have been the deprived one targeting Pri, the narrative would have been totally different
…. Shiv & Pri got the advantage of being the oppressed fighters in the starting weeks and became instant Heroes for the audience….. Nims & her coterie became villains
BB kept milking the rivalry for 3 -4 weeks , be it Abdu’s reels, Weighmemt task etc etc ….. bringing the audience more closer to Pri & Shiv and got them popularity….. later when battered ( by KJo & SK) Nims went low profile….. BB pitched Priyanka against Shiv for captaincy…. and when Pri lost , she started behaving like a sour puss and started targeting her erstwhile friend Shiv…. and BB pushed that track….. Pri & Ankit were affiliated to Mandli in early days…., Pri’s jealousy drove a wedge.
Parallely BB pushed the rivalry track between Colors faces Tina & Sreejita, when it didn’t take off Sreejita got the boot and Tina latched on to the romance track with Shalin
All the Colors characters ( Pri, Nim, Shiv, Tina, Sree) got a privilege of narative & a track….and the whole perception about them has been built on these narratives….. and not their real personality … which sucks
Ankit was happy playing the second fiddle but now BB is hell bent on making him a hero in the audience eyes
The non colors contestants have grown organically on their own merits despite challenges thrown at them
Bottom line - BB has become a boring soap opera and people are getting obsessed with the portrayal and overlooking the real personality
