It depends on the content of the show. TRP audience love toxic drama of a guy dwindling between two girls which is the reason for good TRPs of most of the SP shows. Sumbul's presence or absence is not a parameter for counting TRPs.

Exactly this lot of contestants is interesting, bb15 was filled with known and popular faces still it tanked so bad...the content matters..just like in s13 it worked in s16 as well

True. But I'm giving a big credit to Priyanka & Archana for BB16's TRP because they're providing content. Similarly from men's end, Shiv & Shalin are the TRP kings as they're providing most content.

Sumbul/MC etc have big following, but big fan following of a particular celeb don't bring high TRP, or else shows of many social media popular celebs wouldn't flop!

Only SUPERHIT show in colors kitty when literally every single colors show is struggling for high trp...it's after probably a year for any of it's show touching 2 trp mark

Exactly it's all about content,this season dosent even that much buzz online apart from shiv ,priyankit ,stan sumbul nobody even has a proper fanbase, it's been 10 weeks now still only priyanka and shiv had 2 million trend whereas bb15 was so much more hyped on social media with trends reaching 10millions but still it was a flop which goes on to show if trp audience loves the content then the show will be hit irrespective of it's online hype

Itna boring season itni TRPs laa kaha se raha hai. Aur kya fayeda, ab they would keep on carrying dead weights forward. Continue doing their blatant partiality, mollycoddling bully gang and insulting the other group. This season isn’t even that good, wonder how such high ratings
