Shiv was addressing Tina when he called her dear. How is Tina mannerless to tell Shiv not to call her dear? She has full right to tell Shiv how to address her, and she actually told him nicely for the first time. But Shiv was only interested in provoking her and getting into a fight. Shiv calling Tina dear at first wasn't mannerless, but Tina told him clearly that they don't share such an equation for him to call her dear. But he didn't listen and continued calling her dear, even made fun of her birthday because he's classless and mannerless.
