Would Shiv be okay if his mom got eve teased by being called dear? Would he also tell his mom that why are you offended, he just called you dear? Koi women card nahi hain yaha. This is a reality that women don't like random guys calling them dear, honey, baby etc. because they often deal with men who want to get in their pants. Shiv needs to learn how to respect boundaries. Everything is not okay for game.

And yeah, its basic decency to not make fun of someone's birthday, and Shiv lacks that as well. Fight aur provoke hi karna hain toh aur bhi bahut saari cheezein bol sakta tha woh. But Shiv is ready to stoop down to any level for his so called game. Its not even entertaining to see him provoking others. Its irritating!

Lets be real. None of them are family. They're just using each other to get ahead in the show. Shiv may not be a random guy, but he still doesn't share that equation with Tina to call her dear, and she made it clear to him.

Even then he continued calling her dear because he doesn't respect boundaries. Dear looks formal in e-mails because you add sir or madam with it. You don't address your boss or colleagues as dear verbally. Not even with your friends of opposite sex if they're not comfortable with it.

Maine ye nahi bola ki Tina ko kuch bhi mat bolo, but at least respect boundaries. Also just because Tina tried to use her birthday for getting captaincy, doesn't mean Shiv got the right to mock her birthday, on her birthday. Does it even make sense? How are these two things even related to each other?

Letters /emails and whatever that has started off with 'dear' for like forever, will now be banned ,and 'dear' will now be replaced in the dictionary with-Eve-teasing when 'Shiv'(the Sajid molesters chamche) wants to get into someone's pants.
