Abdu's height is only entertainment factor going for him? - Page 3

I don’t think it’s just his height but yes his height & disorder is a very big part of who he is as a person. Isn’t it same for every other celeb/star/actor? Would Aishwarya Rai be Aish without that beauty and physical features of hers? Would Salman khan be Salman khan without that body? Would Tom Cruise be what he is today without those looks? Answer is No! Negating Abdu’s talent, hardwork, struggle, positivity & everything , And crediting only his height for everything he has achieved is totally wrong.

He is a below average entertainer who has infact earned fans due to his short height otherwise who in their right mind would consider his songs entertaining? We have millions of Indians more talented and entertaining even from the dwarf community. And also he has language problems which is the most important criteria to have to be considered sidered on a hindi speaking show where contestants are continuously reprimanded for speaking in anything else but hindi.

Now that we have abdu on the show, BB is breaking his own rule and allows everyone to speak in English when abdul is around. There are no rules applied just because abdu doesn't know hindi.

What's the point getting someone on the show who doesn't even know basic hindi n who needs a translator all the time and can't even perform in games and tasks?

How does one to entertain a country of 1.4 billion with so many barriers ? What were the BB team thinking when they got someone like abdu on board?

And if they had to, to make a point, why not as a guest and evict him after a week or two ? Why torture us audience of his atrocious English and so called cuteness thats more irritating than entertaining for the most part? Along with him we also have to tolerate that good for nothing sajid as his translator.

I am guessing abdu has strong PR and backing from his home country which is why he is trending otherwise everyone I talk to are fed up already.

it's about time makers realize no one can be entertained for long if the main criteria is the short height of the person who claims to be an entertainer. There has to be more to the person than just a height or lack therof.

1.4B country doesn't all understand Hindi let alone speak Hindi. And we are not a monolith. A bunch of TV stars obviously didn't even entertain the small % of people who actually watch BB, in the last few seasons. In this forum, I have seen words like 'chapri' thrown around with abandon for MC Stan without a second thought that a lot of people would relate to where he comes from and the way he speaks. Gori is called 'gawar' only because of how she talks when the content of what she is saying doesn't differ much from some of the contestants except in being unpolished. A lot of people relate to where Gori comes from. And Abdu speaks English in a way many Indians who also don't speak English (primarily Hindi audience) will understand. It's not a barrier. It's diversity.

Look at Sumbul who is at his age.

She is tall, famous, knows hindi,.her papa came for her rescue.....is she funny? Does she have any creative idea? Is she positive? Can she smile? Does she have a strong position in the house? The answer is no.

Forget about Sumbul. Let's see the other contestants. Sabke sab tall. What are they giving? What did Ankit do? If he was 3inch tall do you think we would drool on 3inch tall inactive, dead face, speechless Ankit? No.

Just becoz a person is short doesn't make us interested at him. If this was so easy BB would bring short/dwarfs in the house.

It is ectremely hard for a 19yr old to survive in this house sp with language barrier. Abdu is not only surviving,winning hearts too.

In india little persons are still not seen with respect or their talent but such posts are made. If Peter Dinklage (tyrion lannister on game of thrones) was in an indian show, same people would claim he was given a role and hyped and got awards only because of his height and not acting

You can't expect everyone to respect someone based on their(short) height . I am sorry but he has put himself out there to be judged based on his personality and I do not connect with him. I am not liking what he is offering to the show. Simple as that.

Oh don’t be sorry, please - I enjoy people commenting on my standards, or lack thereof. But I’m good with my standards - they judge people on this show based on what is in their control - not factors such as height. To each their own - clearly.

Also abdu speaks in broken English that is difficult to comprehend by even fluent English speakers so what makes you think the regular hindi speaking audience will be able to decider what he is saying? So far the only thing i have managed to grasp from his talks is thank you bro, love you bro😆

Also whatever little he is managing to convey from his broken English is only after someone translates it for him. He constantly needs help from othet housemates . Whatever little content he is providing is all thanks to the push he is getting from bbteam through sajid. Otherwise he is completely clueless on what to do and how to play the game.
