Shiv is diplomatic if that's what we wanna call it , only with Stan and Gori..He puts effort to try and reason with them much more than he does with anyone in the house.. I don't know the reason for it..maybe because of Stan's fan following..or because he doesn't wanna come across as someone who would not sit and talk with people of their background..whatever it is, it annoys me because those two are just crass.. With everyone else he gives it back if he has to..Nimrit, Priyanka, Gautam, Archana ..he had confrontations with all of them..so won't call him diplomatic in that sense..
