Irony of this statement is that you would find a dozen people like that for a penny .

BB actually went against the original concept of fourteen years regardless of positive or negative personality more votes equals to win. Though viewers of show gaining 0.9 TRP might be very limited and contestants fanbase can't even be compared with fanbase of runner-ups of previous seasons still there should be no ambiguity in who is the "most popular contestant". The 3 finalists Karan, Tejasswi and Pratik were seemingly at same level in terms of votebank, PR, trends that's why the decision of declaring winner was channel's personal decision regardless of viewers choice.
