If between Rashmi and Teja, you expect him to choose Rashmi then thats a silly expectation. Him prioritising Umar over Teja was understandable because his bond with Umar was stronger. Rashmi is not close to him.

Even if they are not close , it looks ridiculous on his part to nominate her. Umar , Rashmi , Karan were one group with Umar as the binding factor. Now as soon as Umar left, Karan nominated Rashmi . At least Umar was open about his dislike towards Teja . Karan comes off as a snake here. Suddenly he remembered that Rashmi doesn't like Teja and does not want her to win. Isse pehle Karan ko koi problem nahi thi with Rashmi's stance towards her.
