I am so surprised by this as well. Teja-Umar-Karan were saying how it is Pratik's "strategy" but I have never seen him in main show at least approaching the girls proactively. Akasa-Neha-Devo seem to like him and hang around him.

Though Pratik's one true love would be BB trophy at this point...or Nishant.
