I don't have any personal opinion on him. I liked asim but this is his first show and it shows when he communicates with salman. And the attitude of salman does not help either. Yesterday salman and shamita ganging up on him was so hard to watch. It was clearly bullying. But he sticks to his points which is good hopefully now he raise stick to it with more confident and states it clearly that it is my opinion and end there.

I too feel he should have come in OTT, he seems to have the brains but lacks the comms skills and OTT would have been a great soft start to his journey and most importantly an opportunity to build genuine friendships.

I can say one thing here OTT has much better friendships formed maybe due to the short duration than BB 15 does.

Most of th people want him to be like Asim, which is not gonna happen. Because he's no Asim. He's Umar. He's pole apart compared to Asim. So far, Umar is playing good. If he could only put his points strongly on any sasural favored Shammo or others who r favored by channel, he will grow instantly... But the constant bashing from host, constant comparison to Asim n now the guests confusing feedback have demotivated him. I just hope he doesn't give any heed to these chugalkors... N play his game... He will be unstoppable.

During BB13 Asim had no pr..Umar was his PR. He was the one who made his twitter account and was handling his instagram Id too. He single handedly took care of everything outside. He gave interviews to defend his brother whenever necessary and that too awesomely. Not once he lost his cool. Fans would go berseck but he never did..infact took care of everything very calmly. He was the backbone of Asim Squad. Asim had no idea what he had built outside..that wouldn't have been possible without Umar. He came on the show only once in family week..I don't think he made that much impression at that time. He made impression with whatever he did outside to support his own brother..Itna openly khulle aajtak kabhi nhi kiya kisi ne..sabke bhai behen hote hain.We Asim fans are not only Asim fans but also Umar fans too. We know from him from that time. He made his impact then. He earned this place imo. So yeh jo bakwas bolte hain na bhai ki vajah se aaya hai..cut the crap please.

And People who have seen BB13 whether they liked Asim or not..they know for sure that they aren't playing the same game. Asim had no idea about BB. He learnt everything on the show. He would blindly follow Sid.. because he had no clue. They had real brotherhood and a real break. Umar on the other hand knows everything about BB from the start.

The only similarity in their journey is the kind of treatment they both are getting from the makers and the host. That is same rinse repeat of BB13. That is the only thing which is same. When I think of the treatment Asim used to get..Umar getting the same when the guy hasn't really done anything to get bashed..and that has lower down his confidence.

Makers at the end of BB13 won't show Asim at all..won't evict him either..kept the fans hanging till finale. Ab bhi same kr rhe..dikha bhi nhi rhe Umar ko..evict bhi nhi kr rhe.. keeping us hooked to the show.

And even if I forget everything and take him as just another bb contestant still this guy hasn't given me a single reason to dislike him. Jitna bhi he's been visible he is definitely likeable for me.

For each every other contestant I can give enough reasons why I don't support them or dislike them or what made me not root for them.

Exactly... Even if we had known him before n if at all he was the fresh face, I would have still.supported n rooted for only Umar Riaz..... He indeed earned our love...
