Umar why did he come to BB15

Asim is not the only contestant who has a brother, Shehnaz has a brother, Gautam has a brother and other contestants also have brothers and sisters

Why did bb decide to bring Umar, Asims brother?

Umar made a great first impression he has what it takes, he is polite well spoken, handsome, brave and funny.

He deserves to stay, he is the ideal guy that’s why bb brought him and not someone like Shehbaz.
Gauhars sister could not survive one week and she was actually a celebrity.

Yes he is a doctor but if a doctor wants to do bb why can’t he? They have dreams as well.

I don’t know. It’s his wish. Don’t have a strong opinion of Umar. I don’t hate him but not a fan of him either.

I feel he still needs to prove. Plus his 106 bones cracked me up 🤣that was a much easier one and with all that wait time also he wasn’t sure.

This whole thing about Umar not being deserving enough to warrant a spot in a show of this stature, has come down to one word for most, that is nepotism. This started because people were critiquing Shamita for having bagged the show & naturally a few of her fans started raising the same issue with Umar Riaz because of his more famous brother.

Chalo, I'll entertain this notion that Asim indeed got his brother onto the show like Shamita's last name got her on the show, for the third time. But the similarity stops there, because unlike Shamita, Umar isn't protected by the entire team of the show and the host. On the contrary, his scenes are usually cut, he's put down and made fun of on a weekly basis and is demoralised.

At least to me, the issue isn't if Umar or Shamita got here because of their family, it is the advantages Shamita is given week after week with a free pass that entails there's no repercussions to her actions, whether good or bad. She is and will not be called out like the way others are when they make mistakes and this bothers me.

I haven't seen BB 13 and naturally do not know what Asim was like during his stay inside the house but Umar is a contestant I like, I don't care if he's playing just like his brother did. He gets a little aggressive in tasks but so does everyone else, I'm sure if he wouldn't then these same people would be like that guy is a snoozefest and doesn't do anything. I've been liking him more now because he's clearly being cornered by the makers because he has a bone to pick with their favourite.

I feel that initial plan of makers was to bring in Shehbaaz in BB15 not Umar. But due to what happened to his sister, makers felt that it was not the right time to approach him for this show so they approached Umar instead. Maybe they will approach Shehbaaz in the future seasons.

Yeah usually if a popular contestants’s family members participates in the show they dont do very well in the show, eg Gauhar’s sister as u mentioned and even Rakhi’s mom participated in 2nd season but got evicted first.

So uss hisaab se Umar is doing well so far.

Umar came to bb because he made a good impression when he came to bb13

asim is popular but he could never convince bb to bring Umar to the show if Umar himself didn’t have that „spark“

Let’s not forget Rakhi’s mom. Like someone stated the makers probably wanted to get Shehbaaz (shehnaaz’s brother) who too created an impression.

I have no doubt that he will be part of a future season.

Umar may be a doctor, but he’s interested in the field of glamour - let’s not forget Aditi Govitrikar and Manushi Chhillar are doctors too who’ve created a name in the glamour world.

I doubt Asim has the clout to get his brother on Bigg Boss. And even if he did what favours is Umar getting? If anything he is being insulted every weekend.

I read in Umars interview he was approached for ott as he is a non celeb but rejected n wanted to come in bb15, I feel he would have performed much better in ott. And makers are expecting more from him

Shehbaz was part of tht swayamvar show n wasn't that exciting.
