Grading Housemates Week 4 Nomination Performance. What do you think?

3 Groups - Group A are strong players. Group B are middle of the pack. Group C are weak players.

Group A (6): Jay, Karan, Nishant, Pratik, Shamita, Teja

Group B (2): Afsana, Vishal

Group C (5): Ieshaan, Akasa, Simba, Meisha, Umar

Good strategy would dictate -

1. A should nominate either A or B (the logic being A can easily defeat C in the audience vote, so their motivation should be to take out A or B to reduce their direct competition)

2. B should nominate C (they are not secure so they should always try to get weaker contestants in the nomination to protect themselves in case they themselves get nominated)

3. C should nominate C (they are unsafe, so they have to hope that a weaker contestant than them is nominated)

4. Revenge - Nominate somebody who nominated you

Here are the rankings of who performed most strategically in nominations

Great Performance (5):

Afsana (nommed Akasa and Simba)

Ieshaan (nommed Akasa and Simba)

Jay (nommed Pratik and Vishal)

Umar (nommed Ieshaan and Simba)

Vishal (nommed Akasa and Simba)

Bad Performance (2):

Akasa (nommed Vishal and Afsana)

Teja (nommed Akasa and Simba)

So-So Performance (6):

Karan (nommed Vishal and Meisha)

Meisha (nommed Vishal and Umar)

Nishant (nommed Akasa and Vishal)

Pratik (nommed Jay and Ieshaan)

Shamita (nommed Ieshaan and Vishal)

Simba (nommed Ieshaan and Afsana)

Two notable betrayals - Nishant nominated Akasa and Shamita nominated Vishal.

Out of the 3 nominated - Akasa, Simba, and Vishal - Akasa was least strategic and Vishal was most strategic. Therefore Akasa deserves to lose and she is really playing pretty badly. She should go.

What do you guys think?

So I did some additional statistical analysis based on rational voting patterns. What I found is that it was inevitable for Akasa, Simba, and Vishal to be nominated. In any scenario, they came out as the nominated contestants. However, a win for them would have been to have Umar nominated too.

So keeping game theory in mind, and assuming other players would play rationally - Akasa and Simba both screwed up. Akasa should have nominated Simba and Umar as her most rational options and Simba should have nominated Ieshaan and Umar. Both screwed up.

Akasa deserves to lose because she got both picks wrong. Simba at least got one right. Vishal got both right.

I think Umar should be in group B.

Umar does not have a single strong relationship in this house. Which HM is going to stand up and say that Umar is their no. 1 priority? No one. And secondly Umar is not that seen. So I think he very much is a group C. He has nothing special that makes him stand out for audience.

If you watch LF,umar is everywhere

In main epi,bb edited his scenes.Its not his fault bb does not want to show him. As loyal viewer we watch him in LF and know where he stands.But unfortunately many ppl do not watch LF.

Like you rated the contestants based on relationship? That's so poor. Umar has everything to make him stand as special but unfortunately the makers want the high profile faces. Hence all his scenes are cut and people like you who watch just main episodes have only idea of it. I don't agree with him being in C category at all. He deserves better. So yes... He definitely doesn't belong in C category.

You’re right he’s not seen much (for no fault of his), but look at him in tasks, he’s fantastic. Also why is it that the other team always wants to get him out first? Because they know how strong he can be.

As for strong relationships, I agree he has none, but look at how all other relationships in the house are changing. I don’t think any relationship is strong now.

Most junta LF nahi dekhti. So if he’s not seen in episodes, then he’s not seen. LF mein dikh ke Faida nahi hai. Episode mein bhi dikhana hai .

Wahi toh bola meine... But most of them watch LF too and they know what he's doing... He's playing like a pro. Period.
