Because there aren't, that means it is allowed.

Don't criminalize something that is completely legal.

The same rule applies in real life.

If you give somebody gaali, you give somebody a gaali.

If you hit somebody or cause property damage, you are arrested for assault.

So even in real life, gaali is not a crime. Gaali is allowed.

Nor is it a crime in BB.

So don't criminalize something that isn't a crime. Is it inappropriate? Perhaps. But is it illegal? No.

lol nobody is saying gaalis are illegal. where did you get that? they are morally incorrect though and people have a right to dislike a person who gives gaalis on a daily basis. Bigg Boss is a show about judging people afterall.

it looks specially bad for jay because pratik isnt abusing him back so it looks really one sided.

by the way according to your logic cheating on your wife or disrespecting old people isnt that bad either because its not illegal do you agree with that?

I don't judge people's morals. Different people have different morals. Nobody will agree to moral boundaries because each person thinks differently.

Legal boundaries are different. They apply to everyone. Hence legal boundaries become the rules of society.

So - Violence - Not Allowed. Speech - Allowed.

No is saying Jay is a criminal because he gives gaalis. But people in general do not like people who resort to giving gaalis at the slightest drop of hat. So people are well within their rights to hate Jay or support Pratik on the basis of this.

Just like its not a crime to give gaalis, its also not a crime to hate someone who gives gaalis or to show support to someone jisko gaali par rahi hai.

Dear lord ... the justifications for gaalis 🤣

Before I go into my explanation, I also want to pause and highlight the following:

"Is it inappropriate? Perhaps."

That's farking bias right here. It's definitely inappropriate. Let's not beat around the bush. We aren't talking about gaalis in general. We are talking about how specific gaalis were used in specific instances.

It's not illegal to say gaalis - but there is still a difference between saying gaalis because of force of habit/generally and gaalis to trigger someone.

Jay using the MC gaali isn't force of habit. He has the malicious intention to use that word because he knows how it makes Pratik feel.

Sure it's not illegal, doesn't mean Jay is any less of a scumbag.

If Pratik had to be someone who never abused anyone, it would have been different but he has used abusive words before. Him crying over a thing that he has himself done is just funny and stupid. Tomorrow, if someone breaks his bathroom lock, he'll start crying for that too.
