Was Pratik right in breaking the lock of the door while Vidhi was inside?
This shouldn't even be a question but i have seen threads and threads of people both on this forum and on twitter supporting Pratik. People are claiming that this situation was blown out of proportion. But in retrospect it was something that was handled beautifully.
Vidhi made it clear that she never doubted Pratik's intentions, not even for one second. But his actions were stupid and immature. His love for the game has coloured his decisions so much that he has stopped to such a level.
It honestly angers me beyond believe that people do not realise the actual gravity of this situation. I have made multiple posts about this on different threads and have made the poll to see where the majority lies.

Like I've said before, he was in the wrong for doing what he did, when he did it.
Taking that latch off when someone is showering is WRONG and I am not going to be convinced otherwise. Had he taken the latch off some other time, I wouldn't have batted an eyelid.
I've seen a couple of posts wherein people are trying to right his wrongs and nothing anyone says can exonerate him of causing distress to a person when they were in a vulnerable spot, whatever be his intentions.
No he was wrong. Both him and Nishant were wrong. One simply shouldn't tamper with the door/lock while the other person is inside the bathroom, as simple as that, it's basic decency. They made a genuine mistake and the least they could have done was apologize to Vidhi.
There are three possible scenarios:
(1) Pratik had knowledge that Vidhi was in the shower. = PRATIK AT FAULT
(2) Pratik SHOULD HAVE KNOWN that Vidhi was in the shower = PRATIK AT FAULT
For example - if there were sounds coming from the bathroom or you could hear the water running, etc. These are signs that Pratik (or anyone in that same situation) should have known someone was in the shower.
(3) Pratik did not know Vidhi was in the shower = PRATIK NOT AT FAULT
If another person would make the same "mistake" Pratik did in believing no one was in the shower, then Pratik isn't at fault.
There are a few cases where Pratik wouldn't be at fault either.
(1) Vidhi knew what Pratik was going to do.
If Pratik told Vidhi that he was going to break the outer lock while she was showering, then that's fine.
Nothing can justify what pratik didđ¤˘
Whoever votes yes should be named and shamed
Pratik was wrong but the thing was taken out of context and exaggerated. He was right agar yeh sab nishant karta itna bada mudda nahi hota..
Uske intention and character pe sawal nai uthaya which is very decent from everyone's sideđđź. Even if nishant would have done it the reaction would have been sameđOriginally posted by: Aarzoo47
