Well nobody can be trustworthy here. They said this show was a chance to mend their relationship not before as they were planning to divorce. And plus why a couple would behave normal when the things isn't working in their relationship ?? Keeping Rakhi aside as she isn't needed in this discussion . Also why Abhinav didn't confessed this stuff in that dark secret task ?? And why he was caring about what his parents would react rather one would likely to confirmed this stuff.

They were lieing it was pretty evident because she said something bigger and he was least affected rather he was thinking media kya kahegi parents kya kahenge ?
