It's true nowadays dignified people are not appreciated but still there are people who love dignified people. Actually people like strong and dignified people but abhinav is not at all strong. He is very boring type of person that's why many people wants him to get evicted. And most of the times he blindly support's rubina which many people dislike. But yes these are not the qualities for which abhinav should be hated. Like me I don't hate abhinav I just think he is very weak and boring. But abhinav doesn't deserve any hatred for this. And yes it's shocking that sometimes people say arshi is better than him which is impossible. But anyways it's just people's opinions. And I think the makers and colors like loud and nasty people not audience

He was a low level MCP (not extreme), and said many problematic things on his season.

I think it was Imam in season 6 which changed the flavor of audience.

He was an extremely problematic person, but a complete entertainer who even came very close to winning that season. He was the first runner up but people remember him more than the winner Urvashi Dholakia.

So he did have many fans along with haters to bring him that close to the trophy. After that, bullies were also loved by they audience, but they never won except in Season 11 and 13 when Shilpa Shinde and Sidharth Shukla's problematic behavior was justified and even glorified because of their connections.

Rohan jaisa bhi tha, Manveer gunda jaisa nahi tha. Manveer was super problematic, he was a low level MCP & high level homophobic.

He & M3 supported Swami Om throughout the entire season up until he threw pee.

Later post BB, Manveer was proved to be a fraud as well.

Taste degrade hua ya nahi, pata nahi. But there is something with viewers. Apne favorites ko support karne ke lie everything ignore kar dete. Hypocrites ho gaye hain. We defend wrong deeds of our favorite but open a hate topic on other doing same act.

I do not blame show or contestants on the show. As long as we will support people like Sidh and Rahul, BB will keep bringing such MCDs, Guttermouthing person. These people can say anything and then twist it. So, we viewers and fans are responsible for promoting such behavior. It is only us to be blamed. Channel will bring those with whom we connect. And unfortunately, majority of us connect with such people. I am not active on social media and also my job is not to deal with society, but forum gives me nice opportunities to know about people, their sentiments, likes/dislikes. Whatever, I see here is glimpse of overall our society.

I fully agree. Bring an avid fan of the show I feel Siddharth shukla and even Bb13 degraded the shoe standard . Also being successful that season has set a wrong precedence . Original format is to show personality not to fight or abuse or show aggression.

Nice post..and I completely agree..the standard of BB has gone down and audience taste has changed too. I personally believe BB is about showcasing one's real personality and alongwith providing entertainment its a mind game altogether. So when I see people calling some good contestants boring just bcos they aren't too loud, it kinda surprises me. Its their real personality and not about doing fake chillum-chilli just for entertainment or drama. To each his own.

A contestant can be subtle and gentle and yet play mind games to go further in this game, who for me is a better player than the one who's just there to provide drama and fake fights. Can't blame audiences completely too... they're forced to like what is shoved down their throats and later it becomes a liking or a habit.

I like Abhinav but sometimes he disappoints me. He performs in tasks for his friends but expects them to save him. Why? When he can win the task, then why does he want favours? Particularly the Duck Task. He had already made Aly the captain in Dance Task, then why didn't he play individually in Duck Task? His passive attitude doesn't let his personality shine. Thankfully, he speaks out much more now.

I watch only BB main episode and not the extra masala, etc. (Very rarely, if that). BB editing is such that it cuts out the footage which shows Abhinav in a positive light. If the news of ex contestants were not covered by media, I would not know how sweetly he behaves with everyone single person and how he emotionally supports them. BB highlights Abhinav as a useless womanizer whose wife is too innocent and devoted to recognise his crooked ways and who he uses as a crutch to move ahead. Rahul Roy wasn't projected that way. Even Hiten Tejwani was shown in a mostly positive light.
