Totally agree. He thinks disrespecting women, giving gaaliyan, mimicking people makes him a maard otherwise not. Keeps telling the housemates to become maard. Pehle khud toh ban jaaye. Disha is also an attention seeker. No wonder she is with him.

I totally agree with this analysis of Rahul.

Tbh, I started liking him esp after his fiasco with Jasmine. And inspite of his filthy language, people were supporting him bcos of his straightforward attitude and game play.

But of late his inflated male ego has overshadowed his personality

And I feel after a few weeks in this house the actual personality gets revealed bcos someone can't pretend or hold oneself back for that long. Same happened with Jasmine

The contestant's personality should stand out in this show, but it should be likeable. Disrespecting women, unnecessary abusing, 'I-know-it-all' attitude won't take him very far. Proposing Disha on national tv was anyways a tactic, but like you pointed out, asking ppl to invade your own GF's personal space is downright disrespectful and selfish on his part.

but still very unlike him, he had a private talk with Aly and jasmine to soften up the effect. He didn’t react to Aly almost threatening him of retaliation, instead handled it with calm which is very uncharacteristic of him.

Eijaz is not actually a dominating character like Aly, Eijaz is unstable. Jan likes to be dominated & benefit in return and tried to stay under him, but Eijaz always failed to dominate and that was one of the biggest complain of jan when he used to say, “I’m not your priority” bcoz Eijaz didn’t make him feel that he’s dominating him. As a result He felt unsecured. Eijaz is a user of people for his own benefit. While Aly makes people feel dominated by making them feel as his priority and that makes Rahul still feel secured.

He doesn’t have good relations with Pavitra or Kavita. He only is cozying up to Kavita now to benefit and if he had good relation with Pavitra, he wouldn’t have made Aly the captain going against her. He doesn’t think any woman will make a good captain, so he quickly decided in favour of Aly, leaving Kavita, Pavitra and Nikki without any second thought. It wasn’t a tough decision at all going for an unknown guy. Shows how he rates the women he knew for almost 6 weeks.

His this attitude is so clear in his day to day conduct.

@blue..... how is Aly in an position of dominance? Can u give an example ? Does Aly treat Rahul badly like he treats Jas? No. Did he stopped talking to Kavitha bcoz Jasly are fighting with her? No. Does he go after Aly like that nalla couple does even when he said that they are not his priority? No. Infact, it’s Aly who always said that Rahul is his priority, after Jasmine. As for explaining calmly to Aly, ofcourse that’s what any normal person would do with his friends. If Aly insulted him and if he still kept quiet , then that wud b dominating . But nothing like that happened. When Aly and Jas were nice to him even after the decision, and even after the nalla couple tried their best to instigate Jas againist Rahul, why should he fight with them unnecessarily?

@red...... thats a lot of Khayali pulao assumptions you made there?😆. What makes u think that Rahul doesn’t want a woman as a captain? Did he tell that to anyone? U just assumed it out of your dislike for him. If he’s only cozying up to Kavitha for benefits, then that’s what everyone are doing. Nikki cozied up to Kavitha for immunity, and Ruby cozied up to Jasmine for her own immunity. That’s what everyone does in the house. What’s misogyny got to do with it.? If Rahul is really an MCP, he wouldn’t cozy up to strong women like Kavitha or Pavithra, benefits or not. And he wouldn’t fight with Jas and Ruby, who are the real doormats of the house. There’s no need to assume sexism everywhere , where there’s none.

In first two weeks his image was of flirty nature.After farm task he got attention.Even I started like him but again and again he had showed his creepy thoughts.

As far as I could understood about him,he thinks men are superior than women.That's why he utters such things like,"mard ban","ladki mat ban".

In that Queen and King task,when Abhinav intervened in between,Rahul called him "sasta vakeel".Whereas one may find it funny but I don't as because he thinks if a husband is speaking for his wife or showing his supports for his wife that is his (Abhinav's) weak side.Yes I do think Abhi shouldn't have intervened but if I disregard from game of view,that reaction was as a husband.

Rahul thinks of him (Abhi) as weak person that's call him to be "men".

Rahul is such type of men who likes to control women that's why he couldn't handle strong women or such women who does have their opinion.He got along with Aly because they both share same characteristics.

As long he can control,he thinks of himself as "men" and when he finds a strong women,he disrespects them.

Even the way he is treating his girlfriend in the show is pretty disrespectful of her feelings & obligations. He didn’t hesitate a second to tell the people to invade her privacy & build pressure on her to reply positively to his proposal. He’s already treating her as his property.

As far “mard bann”, Abhinav’s is not the first time he has told. He told that to Jaan earlier when they had that fight over nepotism.

That time a lot of people took offense to him saying that.

That hasn’t taught him anything.

He has very few vocabulary too. Doesn’t seem to have decent behavioral knowledge. Uses same tactics, and words repeatedly when he fights.

What is his education background? Am so much older than him and the male folks i know coming from our generation or even older don’t think like the way he does. He has extremely regressive thoughts.

i just wrote in another thread just now, am actually shocked at his behavior in this era! I can only imagine the environment he might have grew up in.

Exactly! He has a problematic personality especially when it comes to dealing to women. In yesterday's foam task, I felt that there was this whole gang of boys who bandied together to bully and Jasmine along with them. Somehow, I feel with Aly's entry, all their surface level goons have been given a boost and they are acting like team with all their hooting, name-calling, boisterous behaviour.

With Rahul, he doesn't seem to have evolved at all. You rightly pointed out that he has these outdated perceptions of male and female roles and persona. Also, thank you for pointing out that bit about him asking people to bombard Disha with messages! I totally missed making that connection. His being proud of sliding into people's DMs, albeit a few years ago, shows that he doesn't understand personal space. Whether you are married or unattached, sending unsolicited DMs is not appreciated by people.

He felt a taunt in the word "disha" used in normal speech, but his deliberate taunts and mimicry have to be accepted.
