He has some serious issues. A lot of factors have affected him and he's just here all confused. This is what I understand:
1. At present, he knows that his popularity has taken a hit. He used to be a star in the early 2000s. Kavyanjali used to air at 9pm (Pakistani time) and it was a hit -- prime time, everyone would talk about it. He also did a show on Sony -- Kkoi Dil Mein Hai -- and was a heartthrob. (This is in addition to movies that he did) Obviosuly, things change. He had his issues. Now, celebrities have other ways of reaching out -- Insta, Twitter, etc. He constantly feels that he has not that big of presence. And this is why he has the constant urge of letting people know that "he's worked hard to reach here". (Edit: here)
2. His age is being turned into an issue for no reason. Even Rahul is like baray hain. He's late 40s. Rahul is early 30s. It's an okayish age difference. In the last season, Asim was 26ish and Sid was 37ish -- no one mentioned that he was the oldest. Abhi, he constantly acts like this big brother who is watching over his friends. He should treat them as fellow contestants and not bachay who couldn't understand the task -- me hota to washroom jata. Dekho me nay aag lagayi (what aag? They didn't even talk about it)
3. His inclination towards Abhinav-Rubina-Jasmine. He's constantly trying to get their approval, which is affecting his game. He's taking blah decisions. As soon as Ally arrives, he's seeking his approval.
4. He shouldn't ask people if what he said was right after a fight. If you go and ask if what you did was right, people would have their opinion on it.
Frankly, in this season, no one is really interested in anyone. Rubina has her husband. Jasmine has her friend now. Nikki is okay with Jaan/Rahul. No one is interested in anyone's fighting. When PavJaz fought as sanchalak, no one was interested! And this is why this season is boring. Earlier, you'd at least see Shukla group and Asim group involved in fights too. Yahan everyone is like kartay raho jo karna hai
