I started watching bb on youtube clips season 4. Saw a clip of Dolly Bindra yelling baap pe maat jaana and got hooked since lol.
Bb9 or 10 onwards is where the decline for this show started. In terms of bias, manipulation and favoritism id say.
Looks like Kavita is back for rd 2 :D
Naa there was always bias in the show but it started rising from season 7 onwards. The bias against Gauhar was way too much lol
Uske baad se har season bias increase hi hua hai. Now toh their pattern is very predictable.
Every season their are 2 groups. One who consist of tv celebs who think they are sophisticated (even though they are the same as the other group lol) and the other consists of weirdos lol
For eg season 8 had Gautam’s p3g group vs Tanna’s bed room gang. Season 10 was celebs vs commoners.
Season 11 was Hina’s group vs Shilpa’s group of weirdos (including Arshi and A cash and Pungi) with Vikas as a 3rd party who would flip everywhere lol
Season 12 was Deepika/Shree’s group vs Romil and Deepak’s group. Season 13 started the same way as Rashmi’s tv celebs group vs Sid’s misfits group which had a newcomer Asim, over the top Sana, doormat Arti and the jolly uncle Abu ji 😂😂
This latest season 14 is the same way with Ruby’s sophisticated group vs Eijaz’s weirdo group lol
Season 9 had no such distinction between the groups. Heck there weren’t even concrete groups. Prince, Kishwar and Suyash were a trio otherwise there was no major groups. Plus none of the contestants were that interesting hence that season flopped.
So my point being that such groups are needed to create a successful season. Yeah a season could succeed without a group but then contestants need to be really interesting. Like Imam saved season 6 or Dolly/Veena etc made season 4 a success lol
