Rubina's simple stand on essential and non essential

Just watched the episode and contrary to what was being portrayed in this forum, her statement was well articulated and concise

"Jeevan ho ya khel ho aatm samaan mere liye essential aur non essential mein bahut badi distinction h. Non essential ka thapa dekar I will clear that. "

She clearly meant ki self respect is something she regards highly and between kavita and Eijaz the one who has the least self respect will get the non essential tag.

I guess she was in fact clever to express her opinion in this way because she didn't actually give any particular incident for stamping Eijaz ( in fact as we can see in the forum many people were even unable to comprehend her statement xD so I don't think salman will get it) and hence next weekend ka war atleast Salman can't pick on her for this issue atleast.

@bold exactly!! Her statement did make sense to me too & I found it well articulated. Infact, most of the time her statements do make sense to me but on forum it's always being portrayed the other way to which I feel I might be weird or dumb as her statements make sense to me.😆

Yes the way she sometimes says it like jalebi it gets difficult to understand but when we think about it, she is mostly correct.

I don't think its about her statement, its more about the logic here. A lady who is hell bent on tarnishing other contestants image based on what happened in the real world (outside world) has more self respect than the contestant who has so far said nothing to that lady only because he does not want to make a national TV issue, is flawed. She needed to give a better reason than self respect. I dont know about Kavitas self respect but she definitely lost her respect in the outside world. As for Ejaz I think by staying quiet and accepting his mistake, he came out to be a better person.

I dont get why in each matter people mock her explanation.

You have your own opinion and I respect that. But from my point of view I feel Rubina played the task with respect to the game.

Eijaz has changed his opinion multiple times and initially after showing hate for Pavitra or showmance, he did go ahead with it( not to mention it all feels very fake). So, not standing by your words and going to someone you don't like just to get footage can be loosely called low self esteem. If he had enough confidence, he wouldn't have resorted to this fake and scripted drama.

On the other hand, kavita is bossy and loud since day 1. She may have changed sides but she had her reasons for that( jealousy , hate or whatever). Being a contestant of the game Rubina obviously doesn't know how Kavita is being portrayed outside. But based on the internal dynamics of the show, definitely Kavita hasn't bowed down to anyone, so she has a higher self esteem than Eijaz.

Hence, Rubina statement very logically explains why she stamped Eijaz.

I don't feel the explanation you give, she meant that while saying it. You are giving an explanation while looking at it from outside.

Eijaz ko log self respect rakhe....rubina, abhinav, aur jasmin ke saamne hi bolte hain mainly because they dont treat him right.....i don't feel rubina ko us baat ka ehsaas bhi hain. Woh yeh bolna chah rahi thi ki hum jab eizaj ke baarein mein buri baat karte.....ya uska mazak banate toh eijaz ko hamein jawab dena chahiye, joh woh nahi de raha, toh self respect kam hain ? In other cases, like kavita ke against....eijaz has stood up and fought. Toh apne aur apne group ke against bol rahi thi ?

And moreover mujhe aisa kahi laga nahi hain abhi tak ki kavita ne apni self respect ke liye kuch kiya hain. And agar rubina ko aisa lagta hain ki kavita self respect ke liye khadi huyi hain apni, toh i would say bahut galat ja rahi hain woh. Itne neeche jaane se jitna kavita ja rahi hain, koi insan sirf respect khota hain.

I do agree eijaz bahut kuch jaane dete hain...and he doesn't need to give respect to rubina/jaismine and keep them somewhere up in his mind after how they both have treated him......but i don't think rubina realizes all that to come up with that logic.

I disagree on high self esteem point about Kavita. I think its arrogance of another level. ( whether scripted or not ) she's coming out to be cunning and self centered woman. Who enjoys bullying people for no reason. She had no remorse for her words and repeated the same line " I won't let you stand near by house" to the cameras. She sounded dumb. Rubina is smart in the sense she does not want to be in bad books of Kavita as they both are in Red Zone. Again self respect has nothing to do with it. Hence illogical explanation.

Kavita is coming out to be a person who cannot be trusted and who will not think twice to throw anyone under the bus when needed. You think a lady who is counting how many times she sent food to someone has high self esteem n self respect? At this point I respect Ejaz for not creating unnecessary drama and go on rants like high esteem ppl like Rubina and Kavita do.

her articulation problem is that she has difficulties to be direct and always says stuff in a round about way

really irritating at times

nobody is doubting her vocabulary just her ability to get to the point

She actually didn’t have any reason other than taking Kavita on her side. If you compare self respect level of the two; Kavita clearly doesn’t know what that commodity is.

Kavita even didn’t respect Rubina while she told her to cut fruit for her, as if Rubina was her slave. That shows how much self respect Kavita has. How could Rubina forget what happened with her? Eijaz might be Rubina’s competitor but he hasn’t had a comparable incident where he displayed any lack of respect for anyone or self respect.

She’s either a hypocrite or a total dumb to do what she did.
