Problems with TV Bahus

I always aee lot of hullabaloo surrounding the popular Bahus in all seasons and Bigg Boss 14 is no different. I didn't like Jasmin Bhasin much in the beginning but she has turned out to be one of my favourites this week. Coming back to the point,

If a TV bahu stays true to her image, be it Dipika or Rashami, fans call them fake and misfit for the show.

If a TV Bahu is completely opposite of her image and tries to participate in tasks with full zeal, like Devoleena, even then she is called out for being loud mouthed and what not.

And our Toofani Seniors- Hina, Gauahar and Sidharth, I bet both Hina and Sidharth didn't watch the show before entering their respective seasons. And Gauahar also became a hardcore fan after she WON Bigg Boss 7. I repeat I said hardcore. You three are masters of Bigg Boss even remember you are comparing the people who just entered two weeks ago. Also both Hina and Sidharth have failed to understand how task work atleast once in their respective seasons.

Vikas Gupta even slammed Hina Khan when she failed to understand one task in season 11.

Didn't Gauahar go against Bigg Boss when she left along with Kushal? These seniors act as if they haven't done anything

If a popular bahu says that I haven't watched the season earlier, she gets mocked. The casting team is also at fault. They took the proposal to them. Shooting 26 days a month and spending 14 hours on sets leaves nobody the time to watch the show. Many previous winners haven't watched the show but still they have done quite well.

If a popular TV bahu gets support from her previous show's fan base, then it is because she has worked quite hard to earn it.

All the best Rubina and Jasmin, you guys might not be perfect but you have a lot of potential. Go and kill it

Problem is that they are always expected to give a lot to the show just because they are TV bahus and BB manipulates their image as per its convenience.

I understand the promos are misleading but the way the makers butcher their image is beyond me.

I am highly disappointed at the way the channel is treating their own artists, who have worked for so long with them . Last year it was another R, this year's target is another R.

Dipika was the fakest contestant ever, she tried to act all goody two shoes, I never watched a single show of hers before Bigg boss and out of the few seasons I watched the season I regret watching was this. This season I like jasmine to win the show but even she seems weak and cries a lot. I have not seen Gauhar season but it would be nice to see a strong woman to win like her.

And it’s not bb messing up their images, it’s the REAL personality that is ugly. Rubina seemed sweet at first but the way she kept ranting and complaining is too much. Fans watch them on shows and expect their characters they play to be real self and blame bb for their ugly personality. I never watched any show of rubina never was interested in her but was excited to watch her on the show

I judge the contestant based on their performance on the show- not their past resume! Most BB contestants are usually TV actors anyway.

But there are two problems with TV bahus from hugely popular shows:

1. They have fan base from the past and get unfair advantage over other BB contestants who are more deserving in terms of performance in the particular BB season.

2. If they were colors bahus, colors give them a finale contract. So whatever happens, they will at least reach the finale which again is so unfair to the other contestants for obvious reasons.

Agreed with your points...hina devo dipika rashmi are all thrashed by biggboss...to an extent host also thrash them......in fact everywhere they are thrashed ...i hope from next year no tv actress should participate in show... only contestants like sid nikki etc should participate......then I need to know whom biggboss host and others thrash...

Yes, it's possible that TV stars/bahus have never watched BB - at least not in entirety, maybe an episode or so at times.

Yes, these seniors act as if they have never made mistakes, deliberately or otherwise. Gauhar still is more sensible of the three but not perfect.

I disliked VG last year but I guess he knows/understands the game best of all.

Last year I got to admire Rashmi only after she got bashed and humiliated and still managed to hold her head high and smile. Such strength.

I don’t remember Hina or devo being bashed by bb team. Hina seems to be their favorite contestant because I see her coming on every season I watched. I was rooting for shilpa on Hina season and even shilpa is a tv actress who got bias favor too.

I just wNt to support someone who is genuinely nice and real. I dont care who is a tv bahu or colors blue eyed guy or a random for hecks sake. If i can connect with them they have my support. This season theres no one im leaning towarda yet but I definitely can not connect with Rubi and Jasmin. Both are not my definition of strong positive and nice human beings. Jasmins sportsman spirit I admire in tasks but thats it.
