Query regarding Umar s profession

So Umar is doctor but he doesn't use Dr before name and neither does he use social media promoting his work. I have seen most of doctors who are on social media try to promote their work I mean their timings are mentioned and their address where they work and reviews but Umar doesn't do that. He is really practising doctor or what that actress told is true that he has removed from that hospital and not allowed to work as surgeon ? This is just a general query so please Asim fans don't react like as if this is post to bash Asim or his closed ones.

He joined Twitter and Instagram to promote his brother.

He is an employee in a hospital so he can't promote himself as an independent practioner

I think he is still doing his residency in surgery.He is yet to take the exit exam if I'm not wrong.

So he is still not a surgeon ? Assuming by the last part u wrote

There is nothing like being an employee u can't promote . The hospital itself will become famous. I have seen so many surgeons working at hospitals put their details on the net so that the people can reach out to them. Most of people look out for reviews. I also know that he joined for his brother but then now he is also famous. Just my thoughts.

Going by his age and even if he completed his surgery he would still be very much a junior.Many large private hospitals have a floating population of junior doctors who are not listed on their sites.

Junior doctors don't have much say because they are mostly apprentices.So it's obvious he won't put his details out.

Maybe some private practioners put up the details of their practice but their proportion is very miniscule.

It's clear that he has joined SM for his brother but he may want to keep that aspect of his life out of public platform.

I have social media accounts but I have not put my qualification or work details on my Twitter Instagram or FB accounts.So it is individual choice.

Not every doctor/professional prefers putting up their professional qualification on SM. Its their personal account and personal choice

He's working in hospital in Mumbai .some Asim fans met him.no he puts his pics in scrubs but I don't know that if he's heart surgeon or still studying.some ppl don't use Dr on SM.thats there choice. Btw saw his pics .he must have taken leave due to Asim.

If he’s completed his surgical residency and is a surgeon he’ll be called as Mr. Umar not Dr.

Surgeons drop the ‘Dr.’ prefix once they complete specialization.

But yeah not all doctors/ surgeons like to show off their credentials on social media, some of us like to live double lives 🙈

No.In India all doctors have the prefix doctor regardless of their speciality
