Well said for your entire and very valid rant - ICAM. And @bold to me, is the core difference - decent people make mistakes, that’s why they apologise. Shukla never apologized for his filth. And since there’s no defense for that - his fans conveniently either ignore the fact that he was entirely unapologetic - still is - or claim his apologies were supposedly “edited out”

They complain about “whining” - what then, does one call the utter bullshit that Shukla didn’t have the makers in his pocket and didn’t get away with murder in this show? LMAO - he won, sure - he has fans, sure - but like you said, had he not been favoured by all and sundry, he wouldn’t have been there past his first act of violence, for said fans to vote for. People can celebrate his trophy all they like - doesn’t change the fact that every rule was broken for him, and the season was in his pocket.

You know what’s embarrassing ? People like Armaan Kohli and Swami Om ( minus that pee incident )come off as better people. Like that’s truly an achievement... this guy is very luckily he was a popular actor or not in his mid 50s -60 like Swami Om else there’s no way he would’ve received any support from the fan girls and the makers wouldv kicked him out. Armaan was an a*s but he used to apologise almost every time after cooling down... he had massive temper issues but this guy was like..everyone rightly calls him a POS. Never apologised , always sat with a smug expression on weekends when Rashmi /Asim were bashed... heck , he was even laughing when Salman made that revelation about arhaans past and she was in shock/tears. Everyone including PaHira looked sympathetic or atleast had the decency to not mock. This insensitive prick is in a different league altogether. Cannot.Compare.Him.To.Anyone in the past seasons...nope !

I won't deny that he doesn't have fans! ... But without the obvious whitewashing and his glorification even his fanbase would have been affected! Makers have tried every trick possible to give him the free reign while making others the culprit of his violence! ... Such brainwashing by makers and Salman, calling him the "Hero", the one who runs the show, the one who's never guilty has also impacted in him gathering support from the audience who don't watch UUs or active on SM!

So I don't really agree that without makers manipulations and bias he could have garnered the votes! .... If he was reprimanded and called out for all his antics, dragged his shady personal life, I bet his vote bank would have been reduced drastically!

Hence his win be it on votes or otherwise will still remain "fixed" and tainted. His trophy hasn't been earned with integrity and it shows on his hesitated answers on being questioned about bias and fixed winning!🥳

For me, him sitting there smirking and enjoying Sallu’s muteness while Rashmi was literally pleading for her dignity post his “aisi ladki” s**t shaming of her - that sealed the deal for me. I have never seen a greater misogynistic prick on this show - Armaan toh iske ghatiyapan ke aage pani kam chai hain.

Everyone managed humility, decency and sensitivity when required - real or fake - except this ass. And I ain’t about to start appreciating someone for being “real” when his real = being an utter jerk. His types make me glad I’m not easily impressed with these faces on tv screens - I cannot imagine ever defending the likes of him - just not my thing.

Like every season I had planned to congratulate fans of the winner and walk away. I did congratulate Shukla fans on his AT and thought I am done with DDT.

But the very next day I found four major leading newspaper India Today, Hindustan Times, Indian Express and Republic world with headlines about “Fixed Winner”. I posted the headlines and thought I am done now.
But each passing day, I kept finding more and more controversial articles, tweets, videos about the show final verdict.

I had planned to troll Shukla, if he would not win after getting so much support from makers, Intruderfast was on my hit list among the fans. 😆 But I was surprised to see world is trolling Shukla for winning the trophy. 😆

It is a week now after finale, I think I should stop now. 😆

SO agree..... thnking about that episode still makes my blood boil. I think any sesnsible, good thinking Indian wont have tolerated someone like Shukla in their lives & not even on their screens. The saddest fact is, a vile person like this is getting acceptance to parts of society just because of fake whitewashing tactics.

Exactly, the whitewashing was the one which was the worst and made my blood boil too

I mean Rashmi and Vishal were bashed for eating pasta and this POS did so much violence and the host went so soft on him, his abuse of Asim's parents was defended with Tumhari maa meri maa crap
