This is a season which went onto cross all the limits to promote male chauvinism, misogyny and sexism. Guy keeps abusing and treats their love interest as mere object & they keep going back to them to convince them. Today both Siddharth and Paras abused like anything Shehnaaz & Mahira respectively for nothing. And what's more sickening was the girls going to hug them even after hurling abuses at them.
Except Rashami (not including the likes of Koena, Daljiet, Bagga) not a single woman has self-respect this season in BB.
Misogyny and Sexism is so deeply rooted in our society's psychology that I'm not even surprised but at least I had better expectations from these so called Celebs.
If you juxtapose two situation,
1)Devoleena's Me too comment.
2)Siddharth Shukla's aisi ladki and Rashami Desai's reaction to it.
Devoleena's comment was done in rage when Shukla hurled abuses at her and passed a petty remarks at her like She couldn't make a connection despite sleeping with everyone. Not only Devoleena received huge backlash for that on SM, Next monday Farah literally made Girls of the house feel guilty for targeting Man of the house.
Compare that with Shukla, who called Rashami naukarani and Aisi ladki out of nowhere when Rashami wasn't even doing anything, Rashami just took a stand for her and So called Blue ticks were lined up sympathising with Shukla giving various meanings of that AISI Ladki comment, Rashami was literally pleading to SK that weekend just to listen out her perspective but not only they changed narrative, instead of giving her consolation, She was accused of Playing Woman Card by so called celebs and that included some Women, too. A TV show could not have hit lowest than that.
Shockingly, they made a mockery out of that derogatory remark promoting it as some kind of comic jibe and actually asked them to reenact when Deepika had come that too for promoting a movie concerned with Women's plight.
Yesterday was shocking to say the least. So many muted dialogues of Paras-Shukla while talking with their respective girls. And they actually showed that rather than editing out to portray as their break up and patch up labelling as some cute nok-jhonk.
They not only promoted misogyny but validated it doing Sidnaaz every freaking weekend.
