It in turn actually shows how tolerant Sikhs are to other religions.

I'm so glad they are a part of India. We would've been incomplete without them tbh.

Yeah true I know only a few but they sound very kind.

Yes, I love their peaceful religion, and how everyone is treated equally with respect! ❤️

I'm definitely going to visit a sikh temple again, and offer my prayers to guru ji for blessings when I have time. ❤️

A gurudwara is there at walking distance from my house so when we can't go to mandir, our family goes there.

We specially go there during Guru Nanak jayanti. The place is literally lit up so beautifully. 😍Also we get to eat amazing food there. 😆

At first I thought she was a muslim because her name is Shehnaz and pyaar se people call her Sana. But then came to know her last name is Gill. But I guess we see many such names that are used in many religions. For example I have seen many Muslims, Hindus and Christians have the name Jasmine. Same with Ryan for example.

ABout Mahira I wondered many times why she says yah Allah. 🤔 Maybe she is just used to it. She is maybe surrounded by Muslims.

There are a lot of muslim Gills in Pak. Before partition muslims, hindus and sikhs all lived in Punjab.

When Punjab was divided/partitioned in to Pak Punjab and Indian Punjab the religious demography changed but not the ethnic demographics.

That’s why Punjabis form the biggest demographic in Pak (40%) and most Pak Punjabis are Jutt/Jatt/jaat, Gujjar, Rajput, Chaudry, Virk, Gill etc

And yes Sana, Shehnaz and Shahbaz are popular names in Pak as well lol

In any case who cares about which religion these names belong to. The main thing is that these names are beautiful.

yes the names are Muslim but they are also punjabi names. Shehnaaz is a sikh punjabi jatt girl. gill is a jatt last name, even i was surprised that she has a Muslim name (not in a negative way, just curiosity) but than again now a days everyone names there kids whatever.

There are so many bipahsha's, sabrina's, raveena's who arent proper traditional sikh punjabi jatt names but they are as their last names are gill, brar, sandhu and so on especially here in Canada, the us, uk.

I was curious too because I saw Shahnaz creating a fan in a muslim way greeting but even rashmi does that greet in a muslim when she sees muslim fan or even host. But interesting to know the meaning of shahnaz family names, they all sound similar, I think it's cool
